Overview

Role involves commissioning, installation, and startup of electrical and mechanical systems for mission-critical facilities, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and related power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, installation, and startup of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling towers, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units.
• Protective relay testing and field verification of protection schemes.
• Test, troubleshoot, and commission ATS, UPS, generators, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, PDU, and power metering equipment.
• Design, construction, operation, or maintenance activities related to mission-critical facilities.
• Lead site activities and ensure project timelines are met; strong organizational skills required.
• Safety-focused with a commitment to maintaining a clean safety record.
• Proficiency in PLC control systems, especially Rockwell Automation Platform.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and problem-solving aptitude; advanced understanding of protective relays and circuit breakers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and willingness to work overtime, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with LV & MV electrical/mechanical power equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel extensively.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup of power-related systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently in field settings.
