Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students for online CLEP American Government tutoring. You can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students one-on-one online using our Live Learning Platform.
• Explain CLEP American Government concepts clearly and tailor lessons to individual learning styles.
• Prepare engaging lessons and track student progress.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule; we handle payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in CLEP American Government and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base rates start at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects and for continued sessions with the same student, up to $40/hour.
• Paid up to twice per week for sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remotely tutor using our platform; no commuting.
