Overview

Ochsner Health Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join our department of 5 orthopedists and 2 physician assistants. Candidates must be fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine.

Responsibilities and Practice

  • Clinic-based position located in Baton Rouge, with rotation to suburban clinics.
  • Practice is delivered at Ochsner High Grove, a medical office complex with outpatient, surgical and inpatient capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a team that includes subspecialty surgeons in Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and Hand, Wrist, Elbow, and Shoulder Treatments.
  • Support from 2 outpatient therapy clinics and a strong athletic training outreach network.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care Sports Medicine.
  • Fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine.
