Production Assembler 3rd Shift – Verona, VA

We are hiring for a 3rd Shift Production Assemblers to join our team. Assist in all facets of the assembly and manufacturing of commercial and industrial HVAC heat exchangers. Our facility is located at 45 Sutton Road, Verona, VA 24482.

Starting Pay: $22.50 per hour, with compensation adjustment based on experience and qualifications.

3rd Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM. Performance evaluation at 90 days and 6 months with the potential for a $0.50 increase after each evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, understand and work from mechanical prints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other written, electronic or verbal instructions.
  • Work with a variety of raw and synthetic materials, processes, safety and quality assurance.
  • Operate various tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies and final product.
  • Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity of prints, work instructions and standards.
  • Maintain required miscellaneous records.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Power industrial Truck license and usage will be required.
  • Physical requirements include standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment with heat, cold, humidity, industrial odors, fumes, gases, chemicals, oil, grease, smoke, dust, noise, vibration, climbing ladders/stairs and cramped spaces.
  • Ability to wear PPE including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear, face shield, and respirator if required.
  • Vision requirements: close, distant, color vision, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Steadiness of arms and hands and ability to make coordinated movements.
  • Ability to read text, process and understand its meaning; able to gather and retrieve information effectively.
  • Mechanical knowledge of machines/tools and their uses and maintenance.
