OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Neuro Oncologist. Join a world leading group in cancer care!
- Work at a high-volume center with specialized physicians including neurosurgical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology/radiology and residencies in both neurology and neurosurgery
- Academics promoted with multi-disciplinary tumor board, teaching opportunities (medical students/residents/fellows), and faculty cross-appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Basic and translational research conducted in collaboration with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria Molecular Neuro-oncology laboratory

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: MD or DO
- ABMS Board certified or board eligible in Neuro Oncology.
- Physician must obtain and maintain an Illinois state medical license
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant neuro oncology research experience
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
