You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients.

THE POSITION Accent is seeking a full-time Project Manager with strong leadership and computer skills that has experience in commercial construction and/or public works contracting.
Key Responsibilities Quality Management Conduct site inspections to evaluate completed work and to plan for upcoming work Take appropriate action for work that does not meet quality standards People Management Clear and proactive communication with owners, general contractors, architects and suppliers Educate/challenge/grow the field and office personnel and encourage morale Assist in hiring and interviewing Conduct weekly meetings with foreman to discuss project progress Direct supervisor to Assistant Project Manager Co-direct supervisor to Administrator Production Management Proactively identify and remove production obstacles for foreman and crews Ensure crews have the tools, equipment, supplies, knowledge and people to be successful Oversee shop, yard, equipment and facility management Develop and coordinate plans for the efficient use of personnel and resources Manage one calls, submittals, closeouts, as-builts and change orders for assigned jobs Track and appropriately communicate all project changes Business Management Timely pay app submissions and appropriate follow up for past due accounts receivables Meet budgeted hours and material expenses for assigned projects Issue and track change orders Make recommendations to improve estimating, purchasing and project management systems Assist in the estimating and bidding process Review and Approval of all receipts / purchases for assigned projects Review/compile, negotiate and sign contracts Safety Management Enforce compliance of all safety programs Correct any unsafe behaviors Foster a culture of safety
Skills / Qualifications Bilingual is a plus Experience in construction and/or commercial contracting Strong computer skills Highly competent in Microsoft Excel Ability to multi task Experience in Bluebeam, Procore an AutoCad is a plus
Experience: Project management: 5 years (Required) Microsoft Office: 5 years (Required) Construction management: 3 years (Required)
