Overview
OPC Pest Services, in partnership with Schopen Pest Solutions of McHenry, Illinois, is expanding across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin and seeks Pest Control Technicians to perform pest management services in Lake Barrington and Lake Zurich, Illinois.
These positions offer full-time employment year-round. Cut your commute and start your route from home! Pest Control Technicians provide pest management services to residential, industrial, institutional and commercial customers. We Offer
Competitive compensation—training wage starts at $25 per hour, then moves to 100% commissions with potential to earn between $50,000 to $65,000 base wage annually or more;
Uncapped monthly sales commissions;
Take-home vehicle to start and end route;

Responsibilities Our mission is to protect customers’ health and property by delivering high-quality solutions. The Pest Control Technician is a key member who helps deliver on this purpose.
Deliver high-quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to commercial and residential customers.
Build strong relationships with customers and seek opportunities for base growth.
Read and follow all label instructions for products used.
Develop and maintain records of field activities (service tickets, inspection reports, service agreements).
Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services and arrange service calls.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old; no pest control experience required.
High School Diploma/GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in the home services industry is preferred but not required.
Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.
Branch location for this region is Lake Barrington, IL.
Physical Demands / Working Environment
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity;
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.;
Able to work in all types of weather conditions.
