We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Market & Sales Analyst
to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will analyze market trends, establish customer pricing, and deliver data-driven insights that support our sales, purchasing, and operations teams. Develop and calculate customer pricing through analysis of material and transportation costs, considering competitive market conditions. Maintain, track, and update customer bid results within company databases and systems. Compile, analyze, and present data through accurate and timely reports. Support the purchasing team by assisting with raw material requisitions for manufacturing and direct sales. Partner with the sales department to respond to customer inquiries and provide insights on market trends and pricing conditions. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their needs, requests, and market fluctuations. Collaborate with operations and sales management to ensure accurate and timely product delivery. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Tableau skills (optional) Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to sit at a desk working on a computer and using the phone for extended periods Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Thatcher products and markets Experience with pricing and data entry in ERP systems (e.g., M3) Strong analytical and communication skills Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field Experience: 1–3 years in marketing or analysis preferred Physical Requirements
