Senior Real Estate Investment Accountant, (95K-100K+Bonus)

LHH is working with a real estate investment firm in the Dallas area that is looking for a Senior Accountant for their portfolio accounting department. This company offers great work/life balance, a flexible schedule, and they prefer to promote from within. This role will offer the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and is in-office only 3 days per week. This is a Hybrid position and pays 95K-100K plus Bonus.

Job Duties

General Ledger month-end/quarter-end/year-end close cycles

Prepares monthly intercompany entries and analyzes intercompany balances

Prepares monthly invoices and monitors collections and receivable balances accordingly

Prepare monthly closing packages

Analyzes and reconciles payable/receivable activity on a monthly basis

Prepares and analyzes year-end tax package information for the subsidiaries

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree in Accounting considered a plus

CPA preferred but not required

3+ years of public accounting experience is preferred but not required

Real Estate Accounting is ideal

Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation
