RN Assistant Director of Nursing/MDS Coordinator
Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/MDS Coordinator to join our family. The ADON/MDS Coordinator assists and supports the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility. The role is resident- and family-focused, a team builder, and focused on building a high-performing team and culture.
Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing with the clinical management of the facility.
Coordinate MDS processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Support staff development and performance improvement activities.
Foster a resident- and family-centered care environment.
Qualifications
Valid Texas Nurse License (or applicable state license as required).
Valid CPR Certification.
Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
