The Division of Acute Care Surgery (ACS) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Surgeon to join a collaborative team of 20 surgeons and a robust group of APPs. Our Hospital Partner, Nebraska Medicine, is an American College of Surgeons-designated Level I Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, managing a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified or board eligible in Surgical Critical Care, have completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, and demonstrate a strong interest in teaching residents and medical students. Seniority level
