Overview

Open Rank- Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professor. Full-time position in the Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences (DDBS), College of Pharmacy, University of South Carolina. Starting January 2026. The successful candidate will teach foundational content in the professional pharmacy curriculum to first-, second-, and third-year PharmD students as needed. Responsibilities

Teach foundational content in the professional pharmacy curriculum to PharmD students (1st–3rd year) as needed. Serve as course director for assigned courses requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation activities as appropriate. Qualifications

Ph.D. in a pharmaceutical sciences discipline. Strong preference for prior experience teaching in the professional curriculum of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy in the United States. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Effective classroom and online teaching, course coordination, and collaboration with faculty and students. Application Instructions
