RN Emergency Full Time Days position at Carondelet Health Network. Up to $15,000 Bonus Based on Eligibility. Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Assessment – use a systematic approach to collect and analyze data about a patient, including physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Initial assessment, Re-assessment, and Focused assessment based on patient condition, setting and population. Problem Identification – clinical judgment about the patient’s response to actual or potential health conditions or needs. Planning and Outcomes – set measurable goals in collaboration with the patient and family; care plan is documented for access by all care professionals. Establishing daily goals with the patient and family; Formulating a plan of care; Transition or Discharge planning. Implementation – care is implemented per the care plan; ensure continuity of care and document in the patient record. Ensure patient safety; administer medications; provide ordered treatments; patient/family education; document nursing care in the healthcare record. Evaluation – continuously evaluate patient status and the effectiveness of care; adjust the plan as needed. Care Coordination – coordinate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to manage and optimize patient care from admission to discharge; includes delegation, supervision, and prioritization. Qualifications
Licensure/Certification/Registration License Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days. Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association. Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by department. Education Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Work Experience Required: None. Employment Practices
