Provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist support for the department under supervision. Perform diverse duties as requested or required. Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. Desirable but not required: superficial knowledge of patient care concepts, physiology, anatomy, neurology and medical terminology. Skills in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics. Experience: not specified; willingness to perform required duties. Ability to problem-solve, pay attention to details and plan effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including typing 35 wpm with 98% accuracy. Physical requirements: must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 8 pounds for 2 feet frequently. Carrying up to 10 pounds for 80 feet frequently. Lifting up to 10 pounds from floor to shoulder occasionally, and lifting up to 5 pounds overhead occasionally. Fine hand manipulation bilaterally.
