As a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for your assigned book of business, ensuring seamless day-to-day management and exceptional client service. You will coordinate closely with producers, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver accurate policy servicing, timely renewals, and effective communication. Managing client relationships and maintaining professional communication with carriers and internal teams Processing policy/customer requests for items such as endorsements, claims, certificates of insurance, binders, EPI, ID cards, and cancellations Preparing, submitting, and marketing new business and renewals, including application and proposal preparation Maintaining detailed client records and following up on outstanding policies in the agency management system (Vertafore/AMS360) Reviewing monthly renewal lists and collaborating with producers to address coverage changes or missing policies Generating invoices and coordinating with accounting on agency-billed accounts Ordering and reviewing loss runs as requested Participating in training and workshops to enhance service and sales skills Meeting or exceeding performance expectations and assisting with additional duties as assigned This role demands attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a client-first attitude to maintain high standards of service and support growth. What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for a well-rounded professional who combines technical insurance knowledge with strong client service and organizational skills. Active State Property & Casualty license (required) 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines account management Prior experience with Vertafore/AMS360 agency management system Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong customer relationship and client-facing abilities Positive, friendly, and professional attitude High school diploma or equivalent (required) Insurance designations (e.g., CIC, CISR) but not required Why Youll Love Working Here
