Overview

Web Content Specialist — BYU-Pathway Worldwide (Part-Time, Student Employee). This part-time role supports the lifecycle marketing manager by researching web trends and gathering, writing, editing, organizing, and posting content (text, photos, and videos) for the BYU-Pathway and EnglishConnect websites. The position is designed for students interested in web content and improving user experience (UX). This role may be remote or hybrid and typically requires 20 hours per week. Responsibilities

Under the direction of the lifecycle marketing manager, update and add content to websites, investigate and identify errors, and build new web pages Utilize writing, editing, and proofreading skills to write and refresh content on multiple websites Collaborate with the communications team, web developers, and operations managers to draft, review, and publish new web pages Learn and maintain brand and website standards Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Copywriting experience — especially clear, accessible web copy (headlines, landing pages, calls to action, microcopy) Desire to learn web trends and best practices Professionalism, responsibility, and initiative Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects Motivated, creative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and dependable Team player who also excels as an individual contributor Experience with WordPress, Brightspot, and/or another CMS Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of visual/user-centered web design Search engine optimization Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript (optional) Students with a focus in Communications, Web Design, Digital Media, or Marketing Please Submit The Following
