Overview
Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG), specializes in gaming content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We’re seeking an Associate Capture Director to support the Capture Director in leading in-game footage capture for trailers and promotional content. This position is based on-site at our Woodland Hills, California office. Strong knowledge/background in sports (NFL, College Football, and English Premier League) is preferred.
What You Will Do
Direct small capture projects with a build technician and two capture artists.
Roll and record gameplay footage, name shots, and perform capture artist duties.
Set up simple shots and collaborate with capture artists on scene composition.
Troubleshoot minor capture issues independently.
Work with editors to transfer, locate, and organize captured footage.
Collaborate with editors to ensure captured content meets creative expectations.
Support the Capture Director in maintaining high standards of visual storytelling.
About You
2+ years of experience in gameplay capture, cinematics, or related creative roles.
Strong understanding of cinematic language and visual storytelling.
Proficiency with game engines (Unreal, Unity) and capture tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and manage project components.
Experience collaborating with editors and managing media assets.
Passion for video games and creative media.
This position is based on-site at our Woodland Hills, California office. The role is on a schedule with variable hours. They are not guaranteed 40 hours a week.
Hourly pay range for this position is below: $21—$22.50 USD
