As an

Electrical Engineer II- III , you will be responsible for creating basic designs under the direction of senior engineers and/or senior designers, performing equipment selections, and load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes. Individuals in this position must demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Additional Responsibilities Include: Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work; assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings. Coordinates with other disciplines and works in close contact with the entire design team. Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer; performs equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes. Represent Syska Hennessy Group and work in close contact with and effectively interact with the internal design team as well as external clients and consultants (including owners, builders, developers, program managers, architects, vendors, etc.). Master drawing organization format and company standards. Assists senior engineer and/or senior designer in the ongoing determination of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets. Assists the senior engineer / senior designer in processing RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda. Begins to establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer. Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer; develop specifications, system narratives and system layouts for a variety of projects and project sizes. Participates in / Ensure / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others. Performs construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports. Represents Syska Hennessy Group and works in close contact with and effectively interact with the internal design team as well as external clients and consultants (including owners, builders, developers, program managers, architects, vendors, etc.). Qualifications

Job Requirements Successful candidates for the Electrical Engineer role should demonstrate strong REVIT, and MEP skills from mark-ups through the production of detailed drawings, and have basic knowledge of construction documentation and design phase requirements. Knowledge of trade specific design and calculation software including energy analysis software (eQuest, Trace, etc.) is a good fit for this role. Additional Requirements Include: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution Minimum of 1.5+ to 6 years of relevant experience in the MEP field working with projects such as Aviation, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical. Latest version of AutoCAD MEP and REVIT required Basic understanding of proper system selection Basic knowledge of applicable codes FE certification required Experience in Mission Critical, Science + Technology, Healthcare and interest in Project Management greatly preferred. The salary range listed below is for this particular job posting. Actual pay range for candidates will be commensurate with experience and may differ based on cost of labor in the location. California Pay range: $78,838—$143,090 USD
