Conduct engineering analyses to optimize product performance, cost, and efficiency.

Perform detailed failure analysis on design-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure successful integration of designs into production.

Participate in design reviews to provide technical input and ensure designs meet project and customer requirements.

Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.

Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure product designs remain competitive and compliant.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and efficiency in the design process.

Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance as needed, though leadership is not a primary focus of this role.

Analyze mechanical systems using classical engineering methods and computer-aided tools (FEA, thermal/structural analysis).

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

More than 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on transformer or related product design.

Proficiency with design and analysis tools, including electrical and thermal analysis software (e.g., OPS Transformer Design Software, SolidWorks).

Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., UL, CSA, IEEE, NEMA) and regulatory requirements for transformers or components.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in cross-functional teams.
