**Work Shift**Day**Scheduled Weekly Hours**40**Summary**This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient-centered care by providing dynamic leadership, vision, strategic direction and operational oversight for the DeWolf Innovation Center for Aging and Dementia. The Senior Director will develop, execute, promote and advocate for aging, caregiving and dementia programs and services for the Cedar Rapids community and beyond. Further, they will be responsible for leading the DeWolf Innovation Center for Aging and Dementia to continued success while maintaining its mission, culture and values. They will oversee all Center operations, strategic planning, and growth initiatives ensuring the Center’s long-term sustainability. The Senior Director will be expected to manage the leadership transition, preserve the Center’s legacy, and position it for future success. Additionally, they will serve as a custodian of the Center’s values and its long-term vision, while also adapting to new opportunities, and challenges.

sustainable growth* Oversee business operations and major initiativesFinancial Oversight* Monitor financials, ensuring strong revenue growth* Work with the Operations Manager to maintain the budget and strategic financial
planningSuccession & Transition Management* Ensure a smooth leadership transition, managing internal and
external stakeholder relations* Educate and develop future leadership talent within the Center* Maintain the Center’s vision and legacy, while adapting to meet new challengesStakeholder Management & Communication
* Act as the primary spokesperson for the Center, representing its interests to
external stakeholders, including caregivers, people living with chronic conditions.

drive innovation to meet changing needsGovernance & Compliance* Ensure the Center operates ethically, following legal and Center specific guidelines**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Proven leadership experience, preferably in a related position* Strong background in strategic planning and business development* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and
engage key stakeholders* Track record of scaling organizations and driving growth in a dynamic environment* High emotional intelligence with an ability to inspire and lead diverse teams* Experience with navigating leadership transitions and succession planning* Familiarity with modern business technologies and innovation practices* Curiosity and willingness to take risks* Strong alignment with the Center’s mission and values* Passion, as the highest priority, for making life better for caregivers, those living
