Position Summary The role of
Director of Operations Strategy
is a key role to ensure the business runs as efficiently and effectively as possible. To transition the organization into world‑class business operation and operational excellence by serving as a strategist, advisor, and project manager to the senior management team. This role will champion strategic initiatives internally, drive optimization of footprint, forge organization‑wide collaboration to achieve strategic objectives, develop and track progress against annual workplans.
Responsibilities
Drive and manage strategic operations objectives and initiatives.
Develop, oversee and execute optimized and strategic divisional manufacturing footprint plan.
Analyze, improve, and maintain existing operations and service offerings.
Implement systems thinking to design and implement a world‑class organization increasing productivity and efficiency.
Initiate continuous improvement plans.
Establish a close communication with Manufacturing and BU organizations to ensure our roadmap accurately reflects the highest potential opportunities.
Establish operational excellence by designing/redesigning processes, flows and procedures.
Form work streams around high priority initiatives.
Diagnose complex problems, develop data‑driven plans, and oversee the execution.
Track and communicate progress on initiatives and projects.
Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in engineering or related field.
7+ years of combined experience in strategy and business operations roles high-growth environment and a top‑tier management consulting firm
Proven track record of identifying, improving company performance drivers.
Strong analytical skills and ability to process qualitative and quantitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, synthesize your findings and interpret into initiations.
Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
