Physical Requirements: The essential job functions require occasional lifting, pulling, and/or pushing of objects up to 50lbs. Sitting at computer for extended periods.
Shift: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) with some evenings, nights, and weekends per business needs.

Job Summary As an integral member of the UK HealthCare Corporate Communications and UK College of Medicine Communications Teams and reporting to the communications manager-UK HealthCare, this position will work in cooperation with appropriate UK HealthCare, college and university partners to tell the story of UK HealthCare and support the overall organizational mission.
Responsibilities Contributes to content development and storytelling efforts to support UK HealthCare and related university partners.
Qualifications
Preferred Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, English, communications or related field, plus 3-5 years of experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: MS Office Suite; Asana experience preferred
Required Education: BA
Required Related Experience: 3 yrs
Preferred/Additional: Experience in health care or university communications
Supervision Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
