In this role, you'll architect and execute the go-to-market strategy for SUSE’s Public Sector, Defense, and Critical Infrastructure segments across the DACH region. You'll act as a key business partner to sales leadership, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to build significant pipeline, drive revenue, and solidify our position as a leading open-source innovator for government and public entities. How You’ll Contribute Architect Regional Strategy: Translate SUSE's global objectives and DACH sales targets into a sophisticated, multi-channel marketing plan that establishes SUSE as a thought leader and drives demand within the public sector. Drive High-Impact Execution: Command the end-to-end planning and execution of a complex portfolio of marketing programs. Influence Key Stakeholders: Serve as the primary marketing business partner to the DACH Public Sector sales leadership. You'll use data and insights to influence sales strategy, ensure tight alignment between marketing investments and revenue goals, and build consensus with senior leaders. Master the Partner Ecosystem: Forge and nurture strategic alliances with key ecosystem partners, including resellers, distributors, ISVs, and hyperscalers. You will co-create and execute high-impact, joint demand generation programs to amplify our reach and market penetration. Manage Data-Driven Performance: Take full ownership of the DACH public sector marketing budget and KPIs. You will meticulously measure campaign performance, deliver insightful reports to leadership, and use analytics to continuously optimize for efficiency and impact. Champion Innovation: Challenge conventional approaches by identifying and piloting innovative marketing tactics tailored to the unique procurement cycles of the public sector. You will be a source of new ideas and best practices for the broader EMEA marketing team. What You'll Bring Experience: 8+ years of progressive field marketing experience within the B2B enterprise technology sector, with a deep, demonstrable focus on the DACH Public Sector market. Education: BA or BS in Marketing or a related field; an MBA is preferred. Strategic Acumen: A strategic and innovative mindset with the proven ability to translate high-level business goals into a concrete, executable marketing plan that delivers measurable results. Marketing Mastery: Expertise in the full marketing mix, with a track record of leading complex, multi-touch campaigns that integrate digital, event, and partner marketing tactics.
