The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team responsible for executing the store product strategy, including product operations and inventory management. They lead inventory shifts, oversee all back of house (BOH) product operations, ensure both floor and BOH are stocked and well‑organized, and provide input to team member performance evaluations and hiring decisions. The Product Operations Lead also acts as Supervisor on Duty (SOD) while leading inventory shifts and delivers a world‑class guest experience when scheduled to work on the floor. Core Responsibilities of the Job
Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life. Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities per SOPs. Execute product actions (e.g., pull backs, consolidations, repricing). Engage team members in inventory management by creating a fun and productive shift atmosphere. Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell‑through strategy and product availability for the guest. Review daily business data and metrics to inform actions, including selling data and pricing recommendations for outlets if applicable. Participate in the store’s hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training. Provide direct feedback, coaching, demonstrations, and hands‑on experiences to support team development. Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment. When serving as Supervisor on Duty, lead from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world‑class guest experience. Job Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located. Must have the ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation. Schedule/Availability
The work schedule can vary based on store needs. Shifts are typically mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. During peak times or special events, early mornings or late nights may be required for some team members. Experience
1 year of work experience. Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to accomplish work. Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others. Job Assets (nice to have; not required)
Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or higher. Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations; ability to review and interpret business reports and metrics to inform action. For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification. What We Look For

For Experiential stores with food/beverage service: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat. Compensation & Benefits Package
Base Pay Range:
$24.00 - $27.61/hour, subject to minimum wage in location Target Bonus:
