This role is critical in ensuring supply continuity, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting innovation across our North American manufacturing network.### **What You’ll Work On*** Lead sourcing and procurement activities for blow molding, including supplier selection, contracting, and performance management.* Drive cost reduction initiatives by optimizing the supply chain and identifying process improvements.* Ensure continuity of supply by managing supplier capacity, raw material risks, and delivery performance.* Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with short- and long-term business goals.* Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements (MSAs, CDAs, amendments, etc.).* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Quality, Engineering, and Operations.* Monitor and report on supplier KPIs and develop capacity expansion business cases.* Serve as a subject matter expert in blow molding procurement and market trends.* Support compliance with corporate and divisional procurement policies.* Approve purchase orders up to $1,000,000.### **Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.* Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain management.* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.* Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.* Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and data analysis.* Ability to develop and execute actionable implementation plans.### ### **Preferred Qualifications*** CPSM, CPM, PMP, or similar professional certifications.* Technical knowledge of the plastics industry, particularly blow molding.* Experience managing supplier capacity and performance metrics.* Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.* Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.**Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:**Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
