Overview

The VP of E-commerce Growth & Marketing will lead digital strategy and execution across DTC channels and Amazon marketplaces. This role owns full-funnel performance marketing, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization. It is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for a growth-oriented executive with experience scaling digital-first wellness or life sciences brands. Location

E-commerce Leadership

Lead and manage all aspects of the digital commerce ecosystem, including DTC websites (Shopify) and Amazon platforms (Seller/Vendor Central). Develop channel-specific strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and customer lifetime value (LTV). Ensure operational excellence, brand consistency, and optimal customer experience across platforms. Create pricing, promotional, and merchandising strategies tailored to each sales channel.

Growth & Performance Marketing

Own performance marketing across paid search, social, affiliate, influencer, and marketplace ads (Amazon Ads, DSP). Collaborate with creative and analytics teams to build and optimize full-funnel marketing campaigns. Define and track KPIs, create dashboards, and present insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Develop and implement retention strategies, including lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, and personalization initiatives.

Marketplace Strategy

Drive Amazon marketplace growth: optimize listings, SEO, reviews, and manage advertising strategies. Explore and lead expansion into new marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, TikTok Shop) with go-to-market plans. Partner with supply chain and operations to ensure inventory, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction align with growth goals.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing team across e-commerce operations, performance marketing, and analytics. Collaborate closely with product, brand, and operations teams to align digital strategy with overall business goals. Stay current on emerging e-commerce trends, tools, and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in DTC e-commerce, growth marketing, and performance strategy. Background in wellness, consumer biotech, nutraceuticals, or related sectors strongly preferred. Proven success managing e-commerce P&L, with a strong understanding of LTV, CAC, and digital unit economics. Expertise in platforms like Shopify, Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central), and other digital marketplaces.
