Job Title:
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Technical Lead Job Location: Remote As a
Microsoft Dynamics CRM / XRM Technical Lead , you will play a pivotal role in delivering enterprise-grade CRM solutions for Cognizant’s clients. You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and XRM applications, working closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, high-performance solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a consultative mindset to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics CRM / XRM solutions.
Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and define functional specifications.
Architect and design robust CRM/XRM solutions, including integrations with ERP and back-office systems.
Develop high-level project plans, manage budgets, and ensure scope adherence.
Identify innovative solutions to meet business needs with or without custom code.
Design and implement data migration, conversion, and testing strategies.
Drive design, implementation, and review activities with offshore development teams.
Ensure alignment with Agile development methodologies and best practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and consultants.
What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 9+ years in application development with a strong C#, ASP.NET background; 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE; 2+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 CRM Portal / PowerApps Portal.
Technical Proficiency: ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB Scripting, COM+, Windows Applications; HTML, XML, XSLT, Java, JavaScript, CSS; REST, JSON, WCF, oData, jQuery; SQL Server, SSRS, CAML, Excel Services, Report Center; SharePoint workflows, Custom Web Parts, Business Data Catalog.
CRM Expertise: Deep understanding of MS Dynamics CRM architecture and xRM customization; experience in developing custom workflows, plugins, and third-party integrations; Experience with Dynamics CRM Mobile features and Outlook integration; Migration experience from legacy systems to Dynamics CRM (online/on-prem).
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
Microsoft Certifications in Dynamics 365 or related technologies.
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, and other LOB application integrations.
Familiarity with security standards including SSO and password management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks.
Experience working in multicultural and distributed teams.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and delivery.
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Salary and Benefits The annual salary for this position is between $114,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
