About Memebox Memebox, pronounced “Mee-mee-box”, is a multi-brand Korean beauty and personal care company backed by over $200M in funding from leading investors including Formation 8, Goodwater Capital, Johnson & Johnson, Pear VC, and Y Combinator. With the U.S. office based in Los Angeles and the headquarters in Seoul, Memebox develops and manufactures all products in Korea — bringing the latest K-beauty innovations to the world. Our award-winning portfolio includes Kaja, I Dew Care, I’m Meme, and Nooni, and we partner with global retailers like Sephora, Ulta, and Target to make K-beauty more accessible than ever. The Role

Memebox is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead social media strategy and execution for two of our key K-beauty brands, Kaja Beauty (color cosmetics) and I Dew Care (skincare). This role will focus on driving audience growth, engagement, and awareness across all social platforms while strengthening brand storytelling and community connection. In addition to owning the social channels for Kaja and I Dew Care, this role will collaborate closely with our Korea-based social media teams to support the I’m Meme and Nooni channels — ensuring brand consistency, shared insights, and cohesive content planning across markets. The ideal candidate is an innovative, creative, and highly organized storyteller with a strong understanding of the beauty landscape and social trends. You’ll partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, influencer, and sales teams to bring the brands’ social presence to life. Core Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy Develop annual social media strategies for Kaja and I Dew Care that meet or exceed brand KPIs. Align brand-level social strategies with annual marketing calendars and key campaigns. Partner with the Korea-based social media teams on I’m Meme and Nooni to exchange insights, align seasonal content, and leverage global trends. Drive platform-specific strategies for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels. Channel Management & Execution Own day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and community management for Kaja and I Dew Care. Manage and maintain a dynamic content calendar aligned with launches, promotions, and retailer initiatives. Collaborate with DTC and retail teams to amplify key sales moments and launches. Write engaging, on-brand copy and captions tailored to each platform. Coordinate giveaways, collaborations, and brand partnership activations. Content Creation & Sourcing Brief and manage freelance content creators for brand-aligned UGC and social content. Partner with the Influencer Marketing team to source and repurpose influencer content across social channels. Work with the Creative team to develop original content that is trend-driven, visually impactful, and optimized for each platform. Design quick-turn creative assets using Canva or similar tools. (Optional) Capture and edit original content if you’re comfortable making content! Analytics, Reporting & Insights Monitor platform trends, competitor activity, and cultural moments to inform future planning. Analyze social performance and track KPIs including engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth. Deliver bi-weekly reports connecting social metrics to broader marketing and business goals. Present actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners. Qualifications
