This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Development Producer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. We’re seeking a creative, resourceful, and highly organized Social Development Producer to ideate, develop, and launch original short-form shows built for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms. In this role, you’ll own the creative development process—from concept to casting to production setup—turning raw ideas into standout, repeatable series that resonate with audiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances creativity with structure, and knows how to craft engaging, shareable video content that breaks through the noise. Responsibilities
Lead the creation of new original series, driving development from concept to repeatable format Manage timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables to set each show up for success Oversee pre-production: research, scripting, casting/talent sourcing, crew coordination, and location management Produce and direct shoots, collaborating closely with on-camera talent and production teams Work with editors and provide thoughtful, actionable creative feedback Build and manage a network of freelance directors, editors, and other content creators Track and analyze content performance, using insights to evolve concepts and drive audience growth Who you are
A digital native who lives and breathes short-form video and creator culture Skilled at developing ideas into compelling, high-performing social content A confident multitasker who can balance creative ideation and logistical execution An excellent communicator with sharp creative instincts and strong organizational skills Excited by the energy of a fast-growing startup: nimble, adaptable, and ambitious Always online, always plugged into the latest cultural and social trends Tapped into NYC media culture and communities A comedy background is a plus Qualifications
3+ years of production coordination, associate producing, talent management, or development experience, ideally in digital/social video Proven track record of creating or developing successful social content or formats Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple pipelines Deep familiarity with TikTok trends, Gen Z humor, and emerging video styles Experience providing constructive creative feedback and managing edits Content creator experience or a strong personal understanding of social platforms is a big plus Salary Range
$60,000 - $75,000. Subject to further discussion based on qualifications and experience.
