The Legal Administrative Operations Manager ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the Personal Injury (PI) department. This role combines legal expertise with operational oversight, managing workflows, communications, and deadlines while supporting attorneys and staff. The position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Oversee case-related operations, including developing and reviewing reporting. Provide leadership and oversight to the Litigation Office Services team, ensuring alignment with firm goals and operational efficiency. Collaborate with the Referral Team on inquiries, triaging outbound referrals, tracking requests, and maintaining strong communication with referral sources. Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless integration of services and resources. Review and manage litigation team audits, and department software/application usage. Collaborate with attorneys and department leaders to ensure operational needs are met and cases proceed smoothly. Identify and resolve operational challenges, applying strong problem-solving skills to improve efficiency and outcomes. Serve as a subject matter expert in litigation support matters, including creating SOPs to increase departmental efficiency and standardization. Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer on department performance, key initiatives, and operational priorities. Qualifications
Proven experience as a PI Litigation Manager, senior, or high-performing PI paralegal required. Experience training, onboarding, and guiding junior team members required. Familiarity with PI case workflows, litigation procedures, and compliance requirements. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with legal software, case management systems (e.g., Litify), and other operational tools. Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and reliability in prior roles. Trial preparation experience strongly preferred. Compensation
$120,000 - $165,000 per year depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives. Benefits
