What We Are Looking For Sourced. is seeking highly qualified candidates with strong qualifications, skills and experience in accounting to fill multiple openings for auditing work. Our client performs audits for multiple customers in the non profit industry and municipalities.

$26 - $30 per hour

1099

Your Responsibilities Financial Analysis and Reporting Examining financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks. Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

Internal Control Evaluation Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls to prevent fraud and errors. Identify and assess internal control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Evaluating financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Identifying potential areas of fraud or error. Assessing the overall financial health of the organization.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements. Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Providing guidance on compliance matters to management.

Communication and Collaboration Communicating audit findings to management and stakeholders. Collaborating with other departments to gather information and conduct audits. Providing recommendations for process improvement.

Qualifications We Require Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 3-5 years of Public Accounting experience (required) Hands on experience working with a wide range of clients Experience with or exposure to auditing processes and standards (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Skills We Are Looking For Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Quickbooks

MS Excel

Strong comprehension of industry-specific accounting standards and regulations (i.e. GAAP and GAAS)

Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
