The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the LSU Health New Orleans is seeking a fellowship-trained Urogynecologic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Urogynecology Division Directorship may be available for the appropriate qualified individual. The primary focus of the Urogynecologist will be the clinical care of urogynecologic patients, supervision and teaching of urogynecology academic fellows, ob-gyn residents, and medical students, and conducting of clinical research. In addition, participation in research and scholarly activities is expected. Clinical responsibilities will include urogynecologic office practice, office-based procedures, and inpatient and outpatient urogynecologic surgery. Qualified applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before the date of hire and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in OBGYN and Urogynecologic Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Minimum qualifications include an MD or equivalent, and Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in OBGYN/URPS; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire.
