System One has an immediate need for a Nuclear Outage Recruiter who has a strong understanding of outage staffing demands, craft and technical labor markets, and compliance within nuclear site requirements. This is a full‑time, direct hire opportunity offering a remote work model and competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers, project leads, and outage coordinators to understand workforce needs, timelines, and required skill sets.

Proactively source and recruit qualified candidates for outage positions including technicians, radiation protection, decon, NDE, operations, and maintenance roles.

Manage full‑cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, verifying qualifications, and coordinating offers and onboarding.

Maintain candidate pipelines and databases to ensure quick mobilization of talent for scheduled and emergent outages.

Ensure compliance with site access, background, and drug testing requirements per nuclear industry standards.

Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Safety, Compliance, and Payroll) to ensure accurate and timely onboarding documentation.

Track candidate submittals, interviews, offers, and placements within applicant tracking systems.

Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the process to maintain engagement and reduce attrition.

Support redeployment and retention initiatives to maintain a strong and reliable workforce.

Provide regular recruiting status updates and reports to management and clients.

Qualifications

3+ years of recruiting experience in nuclear, energy, or industrial staffing (outage or craft recruiting experience strongly preferred).

Strong knowledge of nuclear outage scheduling, site access requirements, and labor classifications.

Experience managing high‑volume requisitions under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs.

Ability to travel periodically to client sites or outage locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting for NRC‑regulated environments.

Knowledge of multi‑disciplines such as Refueling, Steam Generators, Reactor Coolant Pump & Motors, NDE, QC, RP, mechanical, and electrical craft positions.

Familiarity with commercial nuclear operations.
