As a Platform Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of building and scaling secure, cloud-native infrastructure that powers mission‑critical space applications. This is a high‑impact role where your technical leadership will directly influence national security, global connectivity, and the future of aerospace innovation. Responsibilities
Architect and manage Kubernetes‑based platforms supporting real‑time, distributed microservices. Build scalable, resilient infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools. Collaborate with software teams to deploy and optimize Python‑based microservices. Implement robust monitoring and observability using New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, etc. Make strategic decisions on cloud‑native vs. self‑hosted deployments across AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Design and troubleshoot networking (VPNs, NLB/ALBs, TLS, HTTPS, CDN). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred). Engineer high‑performance APIs, databases, caching systems, and event‑driven architectures. Apply cloud security best practices and optimize for cost‑efficiency. Manage identity and access control using Auth0 or Okta. Use Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration. Qualifications
3+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, and automation. Strong proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Unix/Linux systems. Experience with cloud security, networking, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to deployment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Compensation
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match Unlimited PTO, Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays
