Med-Hematology and Oncology Position Summary:

The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology-Oncology in New Orleans, LA, seeks four (4) enthusiastic and dynamic oncology clinician-scientists. Academic appointments will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; both tenured and non-tenured/clinical tracks are available, with rank and track dependent on qualifications. These unique positions offer candidates an opportunity to practice academic clinical oncology in conjunction with research appointments in the Louisiana State University – Louisiana Children’s Medical Center Cancer Center. Research support will be available for candidates with demonstrated success as a clinician scientist. LSU Health Sciences Center is located in beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the home of 6 schools and 13 Centers of Excellence. The LSUHSC School of Medicine is currently expanding its relationships with its academic clinical partners. As a result, leadership roles within our clinical and research activities are available. Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:

MD or equivalent Certifications/Licenses Required:

ABIM board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) physician in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology; Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana before hire. Additional Information
