We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified/board-eligible
Pediatrician
to join our primary care team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, from birth through age 18. This position focuses on preventive care, health education, and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses within a collaborative model.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
routine well-child exams , immunizations, and developmental screenings.
Diagnose and manage acute illnesses (e.g., colds, flu, infections) and chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, ADHD, obesity).
Provide patient and family education on growth, nutrition, safety, and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system EPIC.
Coordinate care with other specialists, behavioral health providers, and community resources as needed.
Respond to patient messages, lab results, and prescription refills in a timely manner.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case conferences, and team meetings.
Follow all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and vaccination requirements.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completed residency in Pediatrics.
Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics (ABP).
Active, unrestricted medical license in [State].
Valid DEA license.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a
team-based
environment.
Commitment to
health equity , diversity, and culturally competent care.
Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic).
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multilingual abilities
Interest in public health, adolescent medicine, or behavioral health integration.
Outpatient clinic setting with weekday hours and limited on‑call or weekend responsibilities.
