Technical Program Manager II, Learning and Sustainability, Sustainability Metrics Accounting
Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the transformation of its Environmental Accounting Program into an engine providing automated and timely sustainability insights that drive critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience, and at least 2 years of experience in program management. Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, AI analytics solutions, and statistical modeling techniques is also required. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Experience with SQL, data visualization tools such as Tableau, AI analytics solutions, and statistical modeling techniques. Experience estimating sustainability metrics such as GHG, water, energy, supply chain emissions, or decarbonization. Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience working with sustainability, ESG, or corporate social responsibility data. Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning solutions in analytics. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to audiences. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners. Responsibilities
Prioritize program goals and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables. Analyze datasets relating to energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and other sustainability and business metrics. Translate findings into clear, concise, and compelling metrics and narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. Define user requirements and translate business needs into data questions.
