Opportunity Details
Full Time – 1.0 FTE (will consider part-time)
Schedule: 4 days of clinic weekly plus inpatient coverage (average 1 week every other month)
Location: Ann Arbor and Chelsea, MI
Requirements
Board certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
Board certified or Board Eligible in Oncology
State of Michigan License
Duties & Responsibilities A typical day may include:
Performing clinical duties in an ambulatory setting in one of our clinic locations in Ann Arbor, Chelsea or Canton
Clinic days are usually 8 am-5 pm with lunch breaks
Multiple disease specific Tumor Boards occur each week including General, Head and Neck, GI, GU, Melanoma, Breast, and Lung. We share responsibility for coverage based on interest and most physicians attend 2-3 per week.
Attendance of required division, provider, and section meetings
Participate in rotation coverage one week at a time to cover our inpatient services. We have both an Oncology and Hematology service. Outpatient responsibilities are limited during this rotation.
Participation in the Hematology Oncology Fellowship teaching program
Working with the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium team for patients enrolled in clinical trials
