Overview Physician, Family Medicine (Full Time, American Canyon) at NorthBay Health. Board Certified, Licensed Primary Care Physician to practice in our Northern California health system. Responsibilities Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommend and order tests to determine the extent of illness or aid diagnosis Monitor lab results, medication adherence, and potential toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medications, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain procedures, test results, or prescribed treatments to patients Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary Represent the practice at hospital committees with balanced distribution of workload among physicians Collaborate and manage APPs Qualifications MD or DO degree Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California Proven experience in a primary care setting Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrates NorthBay Health values: Nurture/Care, Own It, Respect Relationships, Build Trust, Hardwire Excellence Compensation And Perks Annual Compensation Range: $320,000 - $418,000 Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APP Signing Bonus: up to $30,000 Retention Bonus: up to $30,000 per year after the second year Relocation bonus: Up to $10,000 (based on location) Residency Stipend: Up to $24,000 Emphasis on positive work-life balance Collaborative clinical teams About Us NorthBay Health is guided by the values Nurturing Care, Own It, Respect, Build Trust, and Hardwire Excellence.
