Overview A hospital 45 minutes from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has an opening for an OB Hospitalist to join their team. Join a dedicated team of talented healthcare professionals. Opening Overview Flexible Schedule: 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts Level III NICU Setting: 100% inpatient Annual Volume: 2,600 deliveries Duties: Respond to any emergency room/OB consults, main OR cases such as ectopic cases Required Procedures: Colposcopies, hysterectomies, laparoscopics, IUDs, etc. Team Structure: 5 MDs, 3 NPs Open to new grads Must be board-certified Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + RVUs Medical malpractice with tail Paid CMEs Please apply to learn more about this opening if you are interested. Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Hospitalist Pennsylvania state license Graduate from a fully accredited Hospitalist program One year of work experience as Hospitalist One year of EMR experience Board Certified Skills / Abilities / Competencies Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
