About the Role
We’re looking for a data-driven marketplace leader to own and scale our presence across Amazon. This role requires someone who understands the full marketplace ecosystem — from content and search to advertising, logistics, and analytics — and can translate insights into both strategy and hands-on execution.
You’ll be responsible for driving profitable growth, overseeing day-to-day channel operations, and partnering closely with our creative, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure marketplaces operate as disciplined, high-performance revenue engines.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Own the full P&L for Amazon / marketplace channels, including sales targets, advertising budgets, and profitability.
- Develop and execute growth roadmaps for new product launches, seasonal events, and promotions.
- Identify white space opportunities, keyword gaps, and competitive trends to stay ahead of the category.
Listing & Content Management
- Oversee and optimize product listings, SEO, keywords, A+ content, Brand Store, and imagery.
- Coordinate with creative or external vendors for photography, infographics, and video assets as needed.
Advertising & Retail Media
- Manage Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) and/or Amazon DSP.
- Monitor ACoS / TACoS, attribution, and incremental ROI — scaling winners, cutting inefficiencies.
Operations & Inventory Coordination
- Work closely with demand planning & logistics teams to ensure correct FBA/FBM replenishment, forecasting, and inventory health.
- Resolve catalog issues, case logs, and Amazon compliance or policy escalations.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain performance dashboards, track KPIs (conversion, ranking, buy box %, organic vs paid sales, etc.).
- Present weekly/monthly results with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years managing Amazon Seller or Vendor Central for a consumer product brand or agency.
- Proven experience with Amazon Ads / PPC optimization and retail media strategy.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, inventory forecasting, and retail math.
- Ability to be both strategic and tactical — rolling up sleeves to execute when needed.
- Familiarity with tools like Helium10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, Perpetua, ChannelAdvisor, or similar.
- Excellent cross-functional communicator — able to collaborate with creative, ops, supply chain, and leadership.
