Overview Bowhead seeks a Deputy Program Manager – Engineering & Planning to support our customer on the PICRD II contract in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities • Assist development and documentation for IT services and processes. • Maintain/report on Cryptonet Management Workstation (CMW) to ensure crypto status communication with NSA. • Review existing J6 IT process and system documentation within 90 days of contract start. • Prepare contingency plans, support activities, and develop cost-efficiency strategies. Identify/recommend GOTS/COTS software applications for program/task tracking and reporting. • Recommend life cycle management processes for automated information systems. • Ensure compliance with DOD Directive 8140. • Identify corrective actions for hardware, software, and business management procedures. • Identify/ assign C4IT support personnel for Projects & Portfolio Managers to meet J6 timelines. • Participate in J6 IT Governance processes. • Oversee development/coordinate technical solutions for requirements, ensuring compatibility within the HQ USSPACECOM infrastructure. • Oversee HQ USSPACECOM ITEC Team to ensure accountability or all assets. • Interface with USSPACECOM and external stakeholders in working groups, technical exchange meetings, and other forums. • Chair/co-chair meetings and working groups on behalf of government representatives as directed. • Resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor performance to meet contract requirements. • Provide daily control and supervision of employees. • Provide planned replacement information at least 15 calendar day prior to replacement. • Provide information within 24 hours of an unplanned replacement. Qualifications • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution fulfills the educational requirement. • A minimum of 3+ years of experience managing 5+ personnel for IT and/or cybersecurity efforts. • A minimum of 5 years of technical experience. • Meets the Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 802 (NIST: OV-PM-002) and Work Role 632 (NIST: SP-SYS-002). Certification Requirements: • Required: CompTIA Security+ • Desired: DAWIA PM Practitioner, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), FITSP-D, GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically #LI-DNI MN1
