Junior Hardware Electrical Engineer Job at BIOPAC Systems, Inc. in Goleta

Overview We have an immediate opening for an electrical engineer to support and enhance our extensive product line of physiological data acquisition systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot devices that fail production testing or have been sent back for repair (note that this requires employee to be on site) Identify substitutes to replace obsolete parts and when necessary, design accommodations for said replacements Assist with the design of new equipment under the supervision of senior engineers Ensure documentation of designs is kept up to date, stored, and disseminated properly Qualifications B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Preferred Experience with analog, digital, and mixed circuit design Proficiency at soldering Familiarity with Altium Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams This is a full-time on-site (Goleta, CA) position.
