Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed:

• ASAP - Ongoing
• Day Shifts of 8-12 hours and after-hours calls
• Day/Night Weekday coverage

Clinical Details:

• Number of traumas can vary daily
• Expected to round, assist in OR, and respond to ED pages
• 2 APPs on during the day, 1 at night
• Suturing and fracture reductions required
• Independent work with backup from Trauma or Orthopaedic surgeons
• Experience as an OR assist needed
• EMR: Cerner
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 5-10
• 12-30 Beds, Level 2 Trauma Facility
• Average Phone Consults: 20
• Average Patients Seen: 10
• Call Response Time Required: 60 min
• Call Ratio: 5-25
• Admissions: 2-5

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active PA License
• ACLS
