Overview
The Tue-Sat 3rd Shift Union Electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the electrical systems within the CFM's Fort Wayne facility operate efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The electrician will work closely with other maintenance personnel to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond to electrical emergencies as they arise. Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems.
