Job Description Salary: 16-22 Termite Technician Job Description Overview A Termite Technician is responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating termite infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role involves performing termite inspections, applying treatments, installing monitoring systems, and educating customers about prevention methods. The position requires precision, safety awareness, and strong customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed termite inspections in homes and businesses to identify infestations or damage. Apply termite control treatments, including liquid termiticides, baiting systems, and wood treatments. Install and maintain termite monitoring or baiting stations. Prepare and complete inspection reports, service records, and diagrams of treatment areas. Educate customers about termite prevention and ongoing maintenance programs. Follow all state and federal regulations for pesticide handling and safety. Operate and maintain company equipment, including vehicles, drills, and injection systems. Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure high-quality customer satisfaction. Attend training sessions to stay updated on pest control methods and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required. State pest control license or ability to obtain one (company often provides training). Experience in pest control, construction, or home inspection preferred but not required. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor environments. Knowledge of building structures, wood framing, and moisture control a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
