Job Opportunity The Sosa Insurance Group is locally located at 450 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, NJ. We specialize in Medicare Supplement, also known as Medigap, Medicare Advantage, Medicare and Medicaid, Stand-Alone Part D Prescription, Dental, as well as Final Expense, Individual and Long-Term Care Plans. The Opportunity

This opportunity is for a self-starter who would like to work as an independent contractor for a trusted Medicare Health Plan Insurance Agency. As a Licensed Insurance Broker of The Sosa Insurance Group, you will spend your time informing and educating the Medicare-eligible consumer, assisting the consumer in selecting the appropriate plan for them, and following up with the client to ensure that the sales process goes smoothly from start to finish. Clients of The Sosa Insurance Group need help selecting the right plan to meet their health and budget goals, and as an agent of the brokerage firm, you will be their guide through this process. This position offers flexible hours and can be full-time or part-time depending on your availability. Successful agents have self-discipline and good time management, enabling them to meet earnings goals while working a schedule that fits their lifestyle. As an entrepreneurial individual, you will be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial individual who wants the freedom to work for themselves with a flexible schedule and has the desire to succeed in building a solid business. The ideal candidate is also: Coachable, with a willingness to learn and an aptitude for sales. Energetic about sales and able to transfer that energy over the phone and/or in person. Capable of bouncing back from challenges, a self-starter with a positive attitude. Feels a strong desire to succeed. Comfortable working with computers. Able to adapt to changes. A team player with a competitive edge. Has excellent communication skills and is empathetic to others. Special preference to individuals with a health / life license in NJ.

Requirements

No previous sales experience is necessary. You will need your own laptop, phone, and internet access. A valid Health and Life Insurance License, or must be willing to obtain one. We will provide local support and training. Medicare and AHIP certification preferred. Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills. An energetic and engaging personality. Self-starter, motivator, and entrepreneur. Genuine passion for helping others. Ability to overcome sales objections and close over the phone. Bilingual is a plus.

Benefits and Compensation

Uncapped commission potential.

Compensation is based on a per-client basis. If you follow a consistent activity schedule based on a specific number of appointments with Medicare-eligible prospects, you'll have an approximate income between $75,000 to $91,000 in your first year. The following year, if you continue to help clients at the same rate, youree will also receive Lifetime Residual Income from the clients from the previous year. This amounts to receiving a fixed income every month and every year for the rest of your life for the clients you assisted in the previous year(s), as long as your clients are on your book of business. Unlike other insurance agencies in the Medicare Health Plan industry who get paid from the insurance carrier, then the agency pays you, we have contracts with the insurance carriers that if a sale is made, the insurance carrier pays the broker DIRECTLY and YOU own your book of business. The Sosa Insurance Group is unique in its training offerings. Most comparable insurance groups do not offer training in the field.
