About the Role At ICBD, every number tells a story — of innovation, growth, and impact. We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who’s curious, analytical, and ready to help shape that story alongside our CFO and Controller. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, technically capable, intellectually curious and holds a deep desire to solve problems, and efficiently delivers a quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain integrity of financial data across information systems and databases
Analyze complex business and financial data to support decision-making
Oversee cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controls
Post and reconcile customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions
Prepare, review, and process weekly payroll with a high degree of accuracy
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysis
Support audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
Partner cross-functionally to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (public/private mix a plus)
Strong knowledge of GAAP (3+ years preferred)
Demonstrated experience with month-end close and financial reporting
Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings
Expertise Needed
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Concur (or similar ERP/expense platforms)
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling
Experience with cash management and reconciliations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
High-level data-entry accuracy and efficiency
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly
