Insight Global is hiring: INTL - Remote Sr. Manual Tester - LATAM in Chicago

Overview

These Senior Manual Testers will be working at a Global Hotel chain testing the hotel company’s .com website. They will test for cross browser compatibility, new features/enhancements, and will test mobile devices. They are constantly adding new features and enhancements to the websites, so testing those new enhancements such as AI compatibility, multi languages, etc. will be a big part of this role. They will work on a hybrid onshore/nearshore team of 9 testers, (2 manual and 2 automation), 1 product owner, one designer and developers.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of the company’s .com website with a focus on cross-browser compatibility, new features/enhancements, and mobile devices.
• Test and validate AI-related features and multi-language support as new enhancements are rolled out.
• Collaborate on a hybrid onshore/nearshore team of 9 testers (2 manual, 2 automation), 1 product owner, 1 designer, and developers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manual testing; 50% front-end testing, 50% back-end testing
• Front-end testing of web applications on commerce sites
• Back-end testing
• Mobile device testing
• CI/CD
• Agile environment
• Testing APIs (Insomnia, Postman); ability to make back-end calls and interpret responses
• Cross-browser compatibility
• Accessibility/WCAG standard knowledge
• Automation skills (write automation tests and be the go-to person for automation eventually)
• Jira for tracking
• Multi-language testing in English and Spanish
• Testing AI features
• Understanding of Java-based code
