Responsibilities Demonstrates ability to independently perform complex security analysis of classified and unclassified applications, systems and enclaves for compliance with security requirements. Performs IC (Industrial Control System)/SCADA IT & OT cybersecurity vulnerability evaluations. Uses a variety of security techniques, technologies, and tools to evaluate security posture in highly complex computer systems and networks. Performs vulnerability and risk analysis and participates in computer security penetration studies.
Analyzes and defines security requirements for IC & SCADA computer and networking systems, including mainframes, workstations, and PCs. Recommends solutions to meet security requirements. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs and makes recommendations to improve existing security posture. Demonstrates understanding of IC/SCADA IT & OT protocols and network interfaces. Competent at all phases of information systems auditing and IC/SCADA cyber protection and assessments.
Qualifications – Required 7-12 years of experience in OT and IT.
OT design, construction, implementation, installation, programming, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and/or O&M of IC systems;
Experience in electrical, mechanical, security, and fire alarm systems;
Cyber security defense in IT and OT systems;
Knowledge in IT and OT protocols;
IT design, construction, implementation, installation, programming, FAT, SAT, and/or O&M of IT systems;
Knowledge in IT and OT configuration management, system management, endpoint defense, log management, updates and patching, encryption techniques; SOPs, security policies, password management, contingency and continuity planning, risk assessment, auditing, incident response and mitigation techniques;
Cyber analysis of IT and OT systems.
Qualifications – Desired
Hands‑on programming of IC vendor HMI equipment, PLCs, and/or RTUs;
Knowledge of OT and IT system interaction;
Hands‑on experience loading Windows and Linux/Unix OS, installing and configuring laptops, desktops, network software/hardware, databases, and servers.
Education & Certifications BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field. Training in IC and SCADA is required. Security and Facilities Operation Center experience highly desired.
Preferred certifications: CISSP, CSSA, GICSP, IC‑Cert, ISA certification, Microsoft Windows, MS Server, MS Database, Linux Operating Systems, Linux Server, Linux Database certifications.
Knowledge of NIST SP 800‑53 Revision 4 and NIST SP 800‑82 Revision 2 is required.
Travel 30% travel required.
